This blade is hand forged with 1095 and 4340 high and mild carbon steel. It's up-to 58-60 HRC on Rockwell Scale. Very Tough and Durable.

Damascus steel is created by forging layers of steel together. The process gives each blade its distinctive flowing pattern, so no two Elysian Edge knives are exactly alike.

Hand-wash with mild soap, dry immediately, and apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil before storage. Never put your knife in a dishwasher or leave it soaking in water.
