Hand-forged from 1095 high-carbon steel and 15N20 steel, this Damascus steel axe pairs a deeply patterned bearded head with a long, sculpted rosewood handle. The contrasting steels create the flowing Damascus pattern across the blade, giving each piece its own character.
The curved handle provides generous reach and a natural grip, while a burned wolf detail adds a subtle Elysian Edge signature without taking away from the grain of the rosewood.
A fitted brown leather sheath with contrasting stitching and brass-toned hardware protects the cutting edge during storage and transport.
Built for the outdoors, but finished well enough to leave on display.

1095 & 15N20 Damascus Steel
The head is forged from alternating layers of 1095 high-carbon steel and 15N20 steel, creating the contrasting lines and organic movement associated with Damascus steel. The pattern is formed through the forging process rather than printed or applied to the surface.
Rosewood Handle
The long, naturally curved rosewood handle brings rich color, visible grain and a substantial feel in the hand. A burned wolf motif gives the piece a distinctive finishing detail.
Bearded Axe Profile
The extended lower blade creates the traditional bearded axe profile, with its recognizable sweeping cutting edge and bold silhouette.
