This blade is hand forged with 1095 and 15N20 high and low carbon steel. It's up to 58 HRC on the Rockwell Scale. Very Tough and Durable.

Materials & care
Damascus steel is created by forging layers of steel together. The process gives each blade its distinctive flowing pattern, so no two Elysian Edge knives are exactly alike.
Hand-wash with mild soap, dry immediately, and apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil before storage. Never put your knife in a dishwasher or leave it soaking in water.
